1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Nett application ("App") or the website at getnett.app ("Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use Nett. These Terms are entered into between you and Eric Lagarda ("Nett", "we", "us").
2. Description of the service
Nett is a tax estimation and financial management tool for freelancers and self-employed individuals. It helps you track income and expenses, estimate how much to set aside for taxes, and calculate your "Safe to Spend" amount. Nett is an estimation tool, not a tax filing or tax advisory service. It is not a substitute for a professional accountant or tax advisor.
3. Important disclaimer — not financial or tax advice
Nett is not a licensed tax advisor, accountant, or financial institution. Nett provides estimates, calculations, and informational content for general guidance purposes only. Tax laws vary by country, region, and individual circumstance. It is your sole responsibility to verify tax calculations, report income correctly, and remit the correct amount to the relevant tax authority. Always consult a qualified and licensed professional for your specific situation. We are not liable for any tax underpayments, penalties, or financial losses arising from your use of Nett's calculations.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years of age to use Nett. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.
5. Your data — stored only in your iCloud
Nett does not create a separate user account and does not store your financial data on our servers. All your transactions, categories, and tax settings are stored exclusively in your private iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit framework — we cannot access it. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID and iCloud account.
For AI-powered document analysis, Apple Intelligence is used on-device when available, so extracted text remains on your iPhone. If on-device analysis is unavailable, Nett may use a secure third-party AI fallback only after your explicit consent, and only with extracted text (never the original image).
6. Subscriptions and payments
Nett offers a free tier and a premium subscription. Premium subscriptions are managed and billed through Apple's App Store. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings. Refunds for subscriptions are managed according to the Apple App Store refund policy.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Nett for any unlawful purpose, not to attempt to reverse-engineer the App, not to use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Site, and not to impersonate any person or entity.
8. Intellectual property
All content, design, code, and branding of Nett (excluding your personal data) is owned by Eric Lagarda and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
9. Availability and changes
We strive to keep Nett available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Nett and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Spain, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.
12. Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. We will update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you via the App or email. Continued use of Nett after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
